Okay back to my layout :)  I based my layout on Creative Scrappers sketch #266 created by the super talented Jenny Evans! I had so much fun working with this sketch & playing with this kit. I'm sure you can tell just by looking at my layout.

KIT Products Used: Add On Kit- Simple Stories -A Charmed Life Pattern Paper & Die Cuts, Maya Road Butterflies, Studio Calico Enamel Dots. Additional Products Used: Kraft Paper, Gesso, Smooch, Acrylic Liquid Ink.

If you would like to take a peek at what my kit looked like right out of the box you can hop on over to our YouTube Channel for my haul video. The kit really is worth taking another look at! Our Guest Designer Becci Manies is playing with this kit this month too, you can see one of her layouts in this months newsletter. (Take a Peek Here)

A big Smile for American Crafts Cut and Paste

Hello All,

I just wanted to stop in today to share my first project with this months 3 Scrappy Boys Main Kit. This kit is packed full of American Craft's Cut & Paste Collection and lots of other yummy goodies. I just loved pulling it out of the box and flipping and planning what I am going to create with all the goodies.

While I was flipping through the papers I was reminded of a bit of a bonus that American crafts gives each of us with every paper purchase. What you might ask, the flip sided of the bar code strip of coarse.

With those strips of paper in mind I went right to my note book of inspiration.  A few months ago I saw Creative Scrappers Sketch number 252 and  I just loved  it. But I didn't get a chance to play along, so I tucked it away in my notebook for future inspiration.  Here is my layout based on the sketch.

Products Used: 3 Scrappy Boys Main Kit - American Crafts Cut and Paste Collection, American Crafts Stamps & Thickers and  a few spatters of Mister Hueys Mist.

Some of my details just for fun :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Pink Paislee -Hey Kid

If your anything like me, you were super happy when Creative Scrappers started posting challenges again. I just love their sketches! Mainly because they are a challenge for me, which is good! Sometimes all my pages start to look the same and when that happens I know its time to find  a sketch that is out of my comfort zone!

So that brings us to Creative Scrappers Sketch #256. Here is a look at the sketch:

I just love it! But it is way out of my comfort zone! So I grabbed my kit from Scrappy Chic and went to work. I changed the size and added a bit but I think you can still see the sketch loud and clear. Here is my layout based on this sketch:

Products Used: Pink Paislee -Hey Kid Collection, Smash Washi Tape & My Minds Eye Enamel dots.

Here is a closer look at my clusters:
