From my Heart to yours!

With Valentine's Day coming up shortly we thought it would be a great idea to give you a head start with inspiration for creating some cards, over on the Imaginisce Blog. This week a bunch of the ladies have been sharing the love with some darling cards! Make sure you stop by the Imaginisce Blog for some sweet inspiration!

For my cards I used some Silhouette files, The rock tool and even recycling packaging product! Did you know that you can get Imaginisce files for your Silhouette? Well I did not until very recently, so I just had to try it.  Here is a quick Valentine’s Day card I created using “Imaginisce Hearts Design # 41943.” from the Silhouette Online store.

Make sure you check outs some Imaginisce files you will love them!

But I just couldn't stop there because I promised myself I would use my silhouette more this year. So with another file I made this card using Imaginisce packaging and the I-Rock Tool.

And just because I love to get messy I had to play with a little watercolor! I  created this card by simply painting the hearts from the first card and adding a bit of bling!

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have enjoyed my cards!

Make sure you stop by the Imaginisce Blog for some sweet inspiration from these amazing ladies!

Art Journal Page

It seems the start of each new year gives many of us a sense of renewal, a time rid ourselves of the unwanted, reorganize, reevaluate, and start something new. Over at Practical Scrappers we thought we'd also take the opportunity to start 2014 with a new feature. Each month, we'll be introducing a new prompt or idea for art journaling, and featuring the work of our designers here to get you inspired.Which is perfect for me because I really wanted to start my Art Journal this year!

Our theme for this month was "New Beginnings" for my take on this theme I created this page that reads" She decided to start living the life she imagined" which is one of my all time favorite quotes.

Products Used: Lindy Stamp Gang Mist, Faber Castell Bug Brush, Art Anthology, Tim Holtz Stamps, Prima Mask, Staz-on Ink.

I had so much fun playing with my mists for the first time I have to say I love them! I have to say that I love my art journal, there are now rules! Its a mess  and that's completely fine! There are no rules no expectations.... Just me and what ever I want to play with. This is the best therapy ever!!!!

Some Details for fun :)

I hope this inspires you to get a little messy and have some fun and don't for get to stop by the Practical Scrappers Blog to see what the other ladies created. I know you won't be disappointed.

Paper Secrets 15th Sketch

Hello All!

I just wanted to remind you all that Paper Secrets has their second second sketch up for the month and its another great one!

Here it is:

Word: WINTER

Now remember you must include items, colors, brands, etc. beginning with each of the letter of the word - WINTER.  You must use a different item for each letter ( for example you CAN NOT use white cardstock to represent "w" and "c" as "w"hite & "c"ardstock).

Here is my take on Kelly's sketch:

      W-White Dollie
       I- Inka Gold Rub
N-#2 Brad
  T- Thickers
     E- Enamel dots
  R- Rub-Ons

Here are some details just for fun:)

Here you can see the Inka Gold rub & the Rub on Branches.

& a closer look at my title,
I just love over lapping the thickers
but I always stitch them on when I do!

Now its your turn make sure you link up your layout over at Paper Secrets by Jan 31st for your chance to win a $10 Gift card to shop in the store! By the way if you like the collection I used to create my layout you can find it in the store.

Let it Snow! -Imaginisce

In April of 2011 my second daughter Peyton was born and the decision was made that I would give up my career and become a stay at home mother. This was a very hard decision for me to make and even harder to accept.

I struggled with the changes for a long time, I knew I needed something some kind of connection to the grown up world and by chance one day I found it. I stumbled across some scrapbook layouts while surfing the net and I realized they had been shared through the blogging world. I spent all of nap time that day peeking at blogs and realizing that I had a lot in common with these ladies.

My outlet was found and the choice was made, I was started my blog and decided to join online community. I was very nervous to share my creations at first, I was afraid that my projects weren't worthy of sharing. Still I decided that I would and I'm so grateful I did, but now I wanted more.

Now I wanted to be on a design team so I sent application after application and well nothing happened. But then it did and I was lucky enough to be selected for a few online teams full of amazing women. Then I learned that manufactures had design teams and that became my new goal and after many years and lots of applications I gave up. Until I saw the call for Imaginisce, now I had applied before and I didn't make the cut. So I thought why not I love the products and I always have, it’s worth one more try and that brings us to today.

So here it is my first project for my first manufacture team is up one the Imaginisce blog today. Our challenge was to create a winter themed layout without using winter products.  Here is my layout: I hope you like it, I had a lot of fun creating it.

Products Used:Imaginisce –My Baby Collection, Paper & Dimensional Stickers, Imaginisce Snag’em Stamps –Christmas Colors, American Crafts- Tazzel Glitter Tape & Cardstock, Versa Ink, Embossing powder and Bo Bunny Pearls.

A few details for fun!
