Hello All!
I wanted to stop by and share a simple bold layout inspired by this months sketch over at My Creative Scrapbook. 

Products Used: American Crafts Cardstock, Black Watercolor Pencil, Misc Buttons & Enamel Dots, Black Ink Pen, Simple Stories Chipboard, Silhouette cut Title.

Now lets take a look at this months sketch......

As you can see I stuck REALLY close to the sketch :) But I really love the way that this turned out.

I even managed to dust off my Cameo for this layout. :)

And I had so much fun making these bubbles using a watercolor pencil,

But mostly I love that this layout features me and one of my little ladies!

Sketchy Inky Fun!!

Hello All!
Today I wanted to stop by and share a fun layout that I created based on UmWow's April Sketch Challeneg. 
First lets take a look at this months sketch, I just love it!

I started by building my background using lots of Art Anthology Paint & Colorations Spray:

If you would like to see how I created this background (& Layout) I will be recreating it on Art Anthology's Ustream Channel on Thursday May 16th at 8:30 PM EST. 
Next I pulled out a bit of fabulous Umwow chipboard! 

 First I trimmed this lovely Airmail Border to make a couple strips for my layout. 

 Next I covered my chipboard with a coat of gesso, so my color would be true!

After adding a bit of bling, a few layers and a few bits and pieces I ended up with this sweet little layout!

Art Anthology Products Used: Dimensional Gems, Colorations,Sorbet, Velvet & Gesso.

Products Used: Tim Holtz Distressed Ink, Um Wow Chipboard(Airmail border & Heart Confetti), My Minds Eye Pattern Paper & Brad, Washi tape, Stazon Ink & Dylusions background stamps, a bit of Bling and Flair.

And just a few details for fun!

I just love to add lots of little bits and pieces & Umwow Confetti is perfect for that!

Splash into July with Paper Secrets!

Hello All! Can you believe that we are well in to the month of July already?? Crazy right!! Well at least that means there is another beautiful sketch over at Paper Secrets, created by the super talented Kelly Holifield just for all of you! 

July 1st Challenge:

Word: SPLASH

Now remember you must include items, colors, brands, etc. beginning with each of the letter of the word - SPLASH. You must use a different item for each letter ( for example you CAN NOT use white cardstock to represent "w" and "c" as "w"hite & "c"ardstock).  Please note in your blog write up what items you used.
