Bloom and Grow

Today it is my turn to share & hopefully inspire you over on the Visible Image Blog and I just had to revisit a couple of the 2018 New Release stamps.

I love the Bloom and Grow Set, this verse is amazing.

 Her you can see the word love that I stamped all over the entire background.

A bit of winter time Backyard Fun!

Hello All! 

Today I wanted to share a layout that I created using this months Toolshed Kit "Winter Adventures". This kit is a truly stunning kit that is full of beautiful  denim blue tones that tie in to winter perfectly. 

For this layout I used a mix of the Main Kit, the Chipboard, Mixed Media & Embellishment Add-on Kits.

Kit Products Used: Maja Design denim and Friends Pattern Paper:-Worn Indigo, Stonewashed, Pocket Square, Blazer, Jeans and Shirt. Maya Road Ken Oliver Vintage Ornate Buttons, Prima Ingvild Bolme Chalk Ink Farmer Jeans. TCW 6X6 Template Snowflakes, Bella Blue Flowers, Tim Holtz Ideology Quote Chips, Creative Embellishments Snowflake Buttons, Do Crafts Papermania Canvas Shapes with Eyelet Heart and Star. Creative Emblishments Snowflake Chipbords, Blue Fern Studios Backyard Boy Chipboard. DecoArt Snow-Tex Snowflake Paste, Kaisercraft Kaisermist Denim.

Additional Products Used: Lindy Stamp Gang Purely White Embossing Powder, Finnabair Acrylic Paints. Golden Acrylic Paint and White Gesso and just a bit of Black string.

Recently I have been creating more layouts and its been great! Surprisingly I really missed all the tiny details that go in to every page. Unfornitly sometimes they get lost in the process so I thought that today I would share a couple details/tips about this layout.

Sometimes the simplest things add a bunch and I have always loved inked edges, I really feel that the layers pop when the edges have been inked. So I was super excited to find two tiny Prima Inkers in this months kit. I used the Farmers Jeans for all the edges on my layout.

So sometimes you don'y have the perfect chipboard, but with just a few snips I had the perfect title for my little Ladies Backyard Fun. So always take second look at your chippies you may have the perfect title hiding :)

Natures Art Canvas for Lindy's!

I wanted to stop in and share my take on this month's color challenge over at Lindy's Stamp Gang. 

Now I'm not going to lie I really wasn't sure about this color mix... and I NEVER would have put them together. But I guess that's why it's a challenge right?... 

But I really have to admit I really like the way this turned out! So without further ado here is my little canvas..

it really pops with just a touch of Finnabair's  Wax.

Just a touch of gold paint on roses :)

Hello All Lanette here! 

Today I'm up over on the Art Anthology Blog and with the year coming to an end I thought I would send you some JOY for the New Year! I created this fun little wall hanger using lots of my favorite Art Anthology products. 

I started by building my background using Colorations, Water and a sponge.

I just love how this technique turns out!

After my background was dry I added some snowflakes using

Aloha & Reef right off my craft mat :)

Finally I colored my poinsettias red using a mix of reds.

This was messy .....But fun!

But they turned out pretty!!

I added my title by stamping my image on some vellum. 
(be careful when you heat emboss vellum)

My embossed title was super easy to color using Dimensional Crystals!

Put it all together and you have a pretty sweet little hanger!
