Lets Get Sketchy WK 4



Happy Monday to all you crazy scrappers out there! Are you ready for another new sketch from Let's Get Sketchy? Great, we have just the sketch for you to play with this week. It was created by our very own Tabitha and here it is:

For this weeks sketch I used my December Kit from Scrappy Chic! I had several beautiful lines to work with but I thought that this Authentique Smitten Collection was perfect!!

Products Used: Authentique Smitten Collection, American Crafts Twine, My Minds Eye Sticker, Vellum, Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Creative Embellishments Hearts, Websters Pages Rose, Tattered Angles Glaze, Viva Paper Pen and a Gel Pen

A few details just for fun:
Lots of extra stitching and just a dab of pink distress ink.

Creative Embellishments Hearts coated with Tater Angles Glaze.

And I just had to color all these tiny hearts in with a pink gel pen.

Key to my Heart -Kaisercraft


Hello All! I just thought I would stop in and share a layout that I created this month for Scrappy Chic's. I really had a lot of fun playing with this Kaisercraft line, Angela was super kind to put it in my kit.

Some details just because :)


A bit of a brick wall with molding paste, colored with some gorgeous Lindy Mist and topped with some perfect Prima.

A couple Creative Embellishment's Fancy Wood Feathers, that I colored blue. If you like these feathers you can pick them up from Creative Embellishments for 20% off this month.


Lots of fussy cutting and a bit of Tim Holtz.

Bo Bunny Pincushion for Sketchabilities #106

Hello all! 

I'm just stopping in to share a layout that I created using my Scrappy Chic Kit, which had some beautiful Bo Bunny in it! for this layout I took my inspiration from Sketchabilities Sketch #106 by Karan Gerber. I was super inspired by the team over at Sketchabilities so I just had to play along!

Here is my take on Sketch number 106, as you can see I stuck pretty close to the sketch because, I loved it as is!!

Products Used: Bo Bunny Pincushion Collection, Paper & Chipboard, Prima Stamps & Floers, MS punches, Heidi Swapp Mist, Mister Hueys Mist, Tim Holtz Ink,  Stenciles and Ribbon.

Santa's List -SWAT Drill #22



Hello All! 

I hope that you all are having a very Merry Christmas Season! I'm way behind on wrapping and delivering cookies but that's okay.... right?? 

Oh well at least I have a sweet little layout and challenge to share with you today! Drill #22 is live over at S.W.A.T and its pure Christmas Fun!! 

For this weeks drill we have a sketch  with a Christmas twist, you must have Santa some where on your project.

I used Teresa Collins -Santa's List Collection to create my layout that was part of my October kit from Scrappy Chic.

Pink Paislee -Hey Kid

If your anything like me, you were super happy when Creative Scrappers started posting challenges again. I just love their sketches! Mainly because they are a challenge for me, which is good! Sometimes all my pages start to look the same and when that happens I know its time to find  a sketch that is out of my comfort zone! 

So that brings us to Creative Scrappers Sketch #256. Here is a look at the sketch:


I just love it! But it is way out of my comfort zone! So I grabbed my kit from Scrappy Chic and went to work. I changed the size and added a bit but I think you can still see the sketch loud and clear. Here is my layout based on this sketch:

Harvest Pumpkin


Hello All! I'm just stopping in to share a pretty little pumpkin that I created using some Bazzill Basics Cardstock from my November Scrappy Chic Kit and Mod Podge. 


Believe it or not I almost tossed it twice! But it turned out pretty cute, considering this is the pumpkin I started with:


And after a lot of Mod Podge and bit of ink, Flowers & Bling!!....Poof a pretty little pumpkin!


Really its was a simple idea. The plan was to cover the pumpkin with paper easy right?? Yep just like wrapping a ball for Christmas!

Week 2 at LGS!

American Crafts for Week 2 at LGS!

Oh yes its Monday again! So grab your coffee and get ready to plan your scrappy week!  To help you get started we have another fabulous sketch for you over at Let's Get Sketchy! This weeks sketch was created by our very own Brenshevia  Here is my take on her beautiful sketch, I used my DT kit from Scrappy Chic to create this one:

As you can see this LO is packed full of layers!


I added a touch of Paper Pen to add some pop to the tiny flowers.


I just loved these flowers, I had to fussy cut them :)
