Scrapbook Steals Blog Hop

Welcome to another fabulous Scrapbook Steals Blog Hop! So grab your coffee (or tea) and settle in for a fun filled Hop full of tips, tricks and lots of inspiration using American Crafts DIY Thickers!

I was so very honored and excited to be asked to be part of Scrapbook Steals Blog Hop, I just love Scrapbook Steals! I mean who doesn’t really!

And then I found out we would be using American Crafts DIY Thickers! Now that made me super happy! After all who doesn't love D-I-Y projects!

Here is my first project using the mistable Thickers:

For this layout I used 3 Scrappy Boys May's Main Kit. It's jam packed full of Simple Stories 24/7 Collection and lot of other fun stuff!

Her you can see how I misted the Thickers using Mister Huey's and a chicken wire stencil.

And Just a bit of Layers for Fun :)

Next I made a sweet and simple Thank You card using the sticky DIY Thickers.

For this card I used an old Bo Bunny line that was deep in my scraps stash & Glitter of coarse.

A bit of details for fun :)

Last I made a fun tag using the mistable Thickers & ton of fun techniques, this really is therapy for me :)

Products Used: Tim Holtz Dies, Dylusions Mist, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Pink Paislee Mistable Flower, Tulle, Ribbon, Misc Stamps & stencils, Gesso, Ranger Ink, Embossing Powder & American Crafts DIY Thickers.

Here you can see how I mixed colors using a stencil.

June Imaginisce Sketch Challenge

So I took this picture and I instantly fell in love with it, but what to do with it? I really hate that I keep making these one picture one page layouts because for those of you that know me know I am a two page girl and the more pictures the better. But I had to turn this picture into something beautiful, how could I not, look at that smile!
So I found this sketch challenge on the Imaginisce Blog and here is what I came up with. Hope you like it!

Products Used: Imaginisce Splash Dance & Birthday Bash Cardstock, Imaginisce Birdsong Ribbon, American Crafts Thickers, Mister Hueys Mist, Misc Buttons, Glitter and Bling.
