A little something extra, over at LGS!

We have an extra Monday this month, so today over at Let's Get Sketchy we are offering a fun and different kind of challenge this week.

Our challenge, is for you to pick one of your favorite sketches from anywhere, and pair it with one of your favorite color combos. That's right, it's your choice!

I created this layout for a dear friend of mine its a school picture of her beautiful daughter. Years ago I would help her scrap pictures of her daughter on our scrappy trip because I would always run out of pictures to scrap... These days that's not a problem, but I still make her a page every year. Its just our tradition I guess :)

Here is my layout:
Products Used: Prima Romance Novel Cardstock Collection, Modeling Paste, Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glaze, Distress Ink, Acrylic Paint, Bo Bunny Stamps, Cheese cloth, Maya Road Ruffle Trim, Vintage Buttons, scraps of cloth and Prima Flowers.

Here my color combo and sketch that I used.

I was planning on entering this in the April contest over at Once Upon a Sketch but I missed the deadline :(

And a few of the details just for fun :)

I played with some paste,

Fussy cut a title,

Distressed, layered and played with glaze,

I even made some flowers to go with the pretty Prima's!

I hope you have fun with this weeks free for all over at
