3SB December Sketch Challenge

I just wanted to stop in a share 3 Scrappy Boys December Sketch Challenge where one lucky winner will win a 3 Scrappy Boys Prize Pack!

Wake up it's Monday!!

As you can see I changed the pictures a bit but that was my only major change. I was so excited to scrap these pictures, because I never get pictures of my girls together!  So I pulled out  my 3 Scrappy Boys November Kit and went to work. Here is my take on Ashley's sketch:

Just a little Lift!

Hello All! Today I'm up on the 3 Scrappy Boy Blog sharing a challenge with you! make sure you hop over and check it out: 3SB 10th Day Challenge!

My challenge is all about scraplifting, now wait its not a bad thing I promise. After all what is scraplifting really, its just taking inspiration form another layout to create your own. 

Here is my layout that I lifted from Sally, one of my Design Teammates. You can check out her original layout HERE. I created my layout using this months Add-On Kit:

Here you can see the American Craft stamp I used, just fussy cut it and added a foam dot to add a little deimension to my layout.

And here is a closer look at the Maya Road Dollie, I spiced this up a little to by adding some Tim Holtz ink and embossing powder.

Totally RAD Tuesday!

Hello All!

Its Tuesday that means it's my day to share over at 3 Scrappy Boys. This month I was sent the Add-On Kit to work with. But I'm not really sure why it's called the Add-On Kit because its a full kit, packed full scrappy goodies!

Here is my layout I used Chic Tags Current Sketch created by Ashley Horton, I just love her sketches they remind me that white space can be a good thing!

Here you can see the watery effect of my title, I created this effect my coloring the alphas with a Copic marker and thick clear embossing powder.

I just love these American Craft Tags! Yes they take some time but they are well worth the POP they create.

Week Four at LGS!

Well is not Monday and I'm late what can I say being with out my laptop I'm lost :) My hubby promises it will be fixed soon......

And here is my take as you can see I deviated a bit from the sketch but not too much :) I used some Fancy Pants Scraps that Anegla was kind enough to pass along from her Scrappy Chic kit from a few months back! You gotta love her! I must have been channeling Angela as I added the Studio Calico Wood Veneers and Mister Hueys Mist :)

Lets's Get Sketchy Week 2!

That's right its Monday and you know what that means its time for another great sketch from Let's Get Sketchy! This weeks Sketch was created by our fearless leader Brenshevia:

 

Here is the layout that I created using the super fun Down by the Shore Collection by Fancy Pants!

 

 

You can see I did deviate from the sketch a bit I cut my single photo into three instead of using two pictures and I added a third cluster of flowers to make my visual triangle. Lastly I couldn't bear the thought of covering the cute little whale so I cut my layers shorter and omitted the diving line. But even with all my switch ups you can she Brenshevia's sketch shinning through!

Here you can see how I cutout the front of the cute little whale

 to tuck the layered papers, I really wanted to keep the whale :)

 

 

Lots of fussy cutting and foam tape went into these clusters!
