Art Anthology/Altered Pages Blog Swap
I have a sweet Mixed Media Tag I created to share with you today. I stated by printing my Altered Pages collage sheet on a piece of 8 x 10 Mixed Media Card stock sketched out a large tag. I used the Architectural Drawings Collage sheet don't you just love it!
Next I added my first layer of color using my colorations spray.
Then it was time for some stamping fun :) I was lucky enough to be working with the
Muse Altered Artist & Muse Orient Express Stamps.
Next I added a bit of shine and texture using my Copper Metal Effects & a new AA stencil.
I kept I adding color with a bit of shine by adding a thin coat of
Sorbet over my layer of mist.
A bit more stamping :)
I just had to use my new favorite stencil & with some Raider!
A bit of Gesso to add some contrast....
After coloring my ribbon with the same Colorations Spray
I added a little pop by stamping my ribbon.
Add in a quote a bit of doodling and just like that a pretty tag for me to share with you!

Pieces of you everywhere
My canvas is filled with lots of tiny pieces that remind me of my grandmother and her relentless strength. She truly was an amazing woman who fought breast cancer and won! But now she is gone and I am left with her memory, which I find everywhere. For example this rose that I ran across at the zoo last year.
As you can see I built the picture up by using a piece of cardboard that I painted white using a bit of Art Anthology Gesso.
I felt my flowers needed a bit more pink so I added a bit of color to using Art Anthology Colorations Spray and a paint brush.
With music notes and lots if glitter from Art Anthology's Dimensional Crystal my grandmothers personality really shines through.
Lastly I added just a small message that says really says it all....
So as I said before this canvas is near and dear to me and I truly enjoyed making it. I hope that you enjoyed it too. Thank you so much for stopping by today!
