Hello All!

I just wanted to stop in and remind you all that Paper Secrets has their second second sketch up for the month and as always its another great one!

Here it is:

Word: Lucky

Here is my take on Kelly's sketch:

   C-Chevron Veneers
    KKraft Cardstock
    Y-Yellow Ribbon

Here are some details just for fun:)

Art Journal Day at Practical Scrappers

Hello All!

I just wanted to stop in and share a quick Art Journal Page that I created for Practical Scrappers. Each month we are given a theme and or challenge, this month we were asked to include a collage element along with our "Luck Me" theme.

For me I thought of how I need to always remember how lucky I am. It's so easy to be distracted by the "what ifs" &" if only's" I wanted to create a page focused on how truly lucky I am.

I started by creating a collage background using scraps of green paper, I filled in the cracks with paint. I added a few green journaling stickers from Kaisercraft and lots of fun snapshots of my family.
Everything fell into place after I added some random stamps and my quote.

Just a few details for fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Please make sure you stop by Practical Scrappers to see what the other ladies created!

Welcome Spring Bunny Basket

Hello All!
I'm up on the Imaginisce blog today sharing my happy little spring project :)

With piles and piles of snow outside, I happily went to work on this week’s assignment over at Imaginisce to create a spring themed project.

I started with the bright & beautiful Welcome Spring Collection and added a dollar bin bird cage that I thought could be a cute altered gift (I always pick through the dollar bins to find items to alter someday).  After a bit of weaving and rolling I ended up with this sweet little springy Bunny Basket treat.

Products Used: Imaginisce: Welcome Spring -Pattern Papers, Dice cut & Adhesive Gems,

American Crafts- Ribbon, Martha Seward Fringe Scissors and small bird cage.

I just love rolled roses! They are so easy and add such a pop to any project. I created these ones using my cameo!! Yes another project that I used it on, I really am on a roll!

Here is a peek at the little bunny,
I tucked in some grass that I made using some fringe scissors.

Here you can see how I weaved strips of paper
between the bars to transform the cage to a basket.

Packed full of yummy treats this is going to make someone special smile!
Now I just have to decide who to give this little sweetie to.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!!

Over the MOON Excited!!

Hello All! Today is my I am up over at Art Anthology for the very first time ever!! To say the least I am Over the MOON Excited!!

So I thought I would share one of the projects that I submitted for my application. I had a lot of fun creating this little canvas! Cleaning my desk after well not so much... But I think it was worth it after all  I made The Dream Team!
Anyhow back to my canvas..... It all started with a lovely  Steampunk Heart from Creative Embellishments that I've been hoarding for a special project and here it is:

Now you know I LOVE to get messy! But, WOW this little beauty took it to a whole new level! With so many layers of paint, mist and embossing powder. Plus all the yummy chipboard, flowers and metal bits & pieces.

I'm so sorry that I don't have step by step pictures to share with you, but here are  lots of details.

Here you can see a little of the embossing powder that I sprinkled on the Art Anthologly while it was wet and then heat set, poof amazing texture!

Lots of Tim Holtz metal & Maya Road trim.

You know I had to add this Prima Create bulb.
(Yes another item I've been hoarding)

Here you can see just how striking the Art Anthology- Red Velvet really is.
I just love how it makes the heart stand out. The color is so deep and rich,
its by far one of my favorites!

But I must say there is nothing quite like painting white roses red!

I really hope that my canvas has given you some crafty inspiration, If it did I would love to see what you create! Please share Art on the Art Anthology Facebook page.
