Design Team Call

 

Hello everyone I wanted to share our call over at S.W.A.T, we are looking to add several new faces to the team and it could be you! Here is the details...

S.W.A.T. is looking to add to our Design Team. The DT term will run from Jun 22, 2013 through Jan 5, 2014. 

 

Why apply for our team? 

• To be inspired and to inspire others 
• To be on the ground floor of an up and coming blog 
• You will be a part of an amazing group of designers and develop lifelong friendships with crafters from all over the world. 
• Your work will be featured on Facebook and Pinterest. 

What is expected of our Design Team? 

• You MUST be a follower of our blog & Facebook Page.
• Complete 2 projects a month (you will be given all challenges at the start of the term). **On occasion a third project when there are five Saturdays in the month oe a Blog HOP.
• Comment on participants entries (THIS IS A MUST!).  Any team member not adhering to this rule will be promptly removed from the team so please make sure you can do this before applying. 
• Commit to a 6 1/2  month term (beginning Jun 22, 2013 ending Jan 5, 2014.
• Keep an active blog that is updated frequently. 
• Post our challenge and your project on your blog on reveal day and link back to the S.W.A.T. blog.
• You must have a Facebook account all our information is relayed in our Private Facebook Group.

How to apply:

• Create a layout based on our DT Call Sketch(Below)using your favorite trendy technique and send it to us at:
swatscrappygirl@gmail.com ("DT Application/Your Name" in the subject line) with the following information;
• Your Name
• Your Email Address
• Any Current Design Teams (no previous DT experience required)
• And a little bit about yourself (if you are selected this will become your Bio on the Blog).
• Provide links to your blog and any online galleries.

Design Team Call Sketch

 

We are accepting applications through June 10^th.  New design team members will be notified by June 14^th.  This is an open call, what that means is, We have the right to close this call at any time if We feel all the positions have been filled. The first reveal will be July 6th.

Again, No previous DT experience needed. However we are only looking for dedicated members who have a love for scrapbooking and enjoy sharing their ideas and creations!

Happy Memorial Day

Hello all!
I wanted to make sure you all see what Heather has going on at 3 Scrappy Boys this weekend!

In honor of Memorial Day, 3 Scrappy Boys will be making our annual donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, as well as a donation to the Red Cross to help those affected by the awful tornado in Oklahoma. 10% of all sales will be matched by me personally and then split between the two organizations. Canvas Class Coming Soon!

Hello All! Today I wanted to share my canvas that I made using Prima's new doll stamps, I just love them!! I created this canvas for Mega Meet and if you were there you may have seen it on display in Scrappy Chic's booth.

 

 

I had so much fun making this canvas, that I will be turning it into a class at Scrappy Chic very soon! I used so many products and techniques on this canvas it truly was a blast!

Cosmo Cricket Summer Love is perfect for Syd!

 

So I'm Back from Mega Meet and I'm tired! I had so much fun talking with so many craters. It was so fun to chat with many people that love scrapping as much as me.

 

Plus I got to see Tim Holtz and Wendy Vecchi and Mario even rang up my order. Not to mention I got chat with Jenni Bowlin and meet a ton of my favorite online vendors and friends.

 

So today I thought would share this LO wit you all, it was on  display in the Scrappy Chic both (that I was working at).

 

For my layout I started this beautiful sketch over at Sketchabilities

 

 

and added Cosmo Crickets Summer Love Collection. I used so much foam tape on this LO but I forgot to take pictures on an angle :(

it really does pop right off the page :)
