Happy Memorial Day

Hello all!
I wanted to make sure you all see what Heather has going on at 3 Scrappy Boys this weekend!

In honor of Memorial Day, 3 Scrappy Boys will be making our annual donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, as well as a donation to the Red Cross to help those affected by the awful tornado in Oklahoma. 10% of all sales will be matched by me personally and then split between the two organizations. Last year we were able to make a $200 donation and I hope to increase that this year.
We have started a 20% off sale and have been busy restocking our popular grab bags. If you have not bought one before, you are missing out! These are always full of a ton of great product-both older and newer, as well as kit extras. None of them are the same, so feel free to purchase more than one. There are several to choose from:

Memorial Day Grab Bag for $25

$10 embellie

$15 embellie

$10 paper

$15 paper

Please stop by and take advantage of some great deals while helping a great cause at the same time!

I hope that you all have a great Memorial Day and thank you to all those who have defended this great nation!

So I'm Back from Mega Meet and I'm tired! I had so much fun talking with so many craters. It was so fun to chat with many people that love scrapping as much as me.

A little something extra, over at LGS!

We have an extra Monday this month, so today over at Let's Get Sketchy we are offering a fun and different kind of challenge this week.

Our challenge, is for you to pick one of your favorite sketches from anywhere, and pair it with one of your favorite color combos. That's right, it's your choice!

I created this layout for a dear friend of mine its a school picture of her beautiful daughter. Years ago I would help her scrap pictures of her daughter on our scrappy trip because I would always run out of pictures to scrap... These days that's not a problem, but I still make her a page every year. Its just our tradition I guess :)

Here is my layout:
Products Used: Prima Romance Novel Cardstock Collection, Modeling Paste, Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glaze, Distress Ink, Acrylic Paint, Bo Bunny Stamps, Cheese cloth, Maya Road Ruffle Trim, Vintage Buttons, scraps of cloth and Prima Flowers.

Here my color combo and sketch that I used.

I was planning on entering this in the April contest over at Once Upon a Sketch but I missed the deadline :(

And a few of the details just for fun :)

I played with some paste,

Fussy cut a title,

Distressed, layered and played with glaze,

I even made some flowers to go with the pretty Prima's!

I hope you have fun with this weeks free for all over at

Thanks for stopping by today!
