Ready for Father's Day!

I’m up at 3 Scrappy Boys today!

I was a little surprised to find the adorable Family Man Collection from Echo Park in my 3 Scrappy Boys Kit, after all its January I just took down my tree. So I put it to the side and thought about it and the more I did I realized this was a blessing!
I always forget Fathers Day; I’m always picking up a card the day before or even the day of.  May and June are just so crazy for us with birthdays sometimes I forget… sad I know.  But not this year! Thanks 3 Scrappy Boys. This year I’m ready, because this year I made this cute picture frame with a matching card!

So as you all know by now I’m not a card maker, so I need help. So I turned to Practical Scrappers were we have a great card sketch.

I embellished the picture frame using the pattern paper from Echo Park’s- Family Man Collection, that I turned in to rosettes, you know I love them!

Hey, I know it's June but it never hurts to plan ahead, things happen and let’s face it time flies by it will be June before you know it! So pick up your Family Man Collection from the 3 Scrappy Boys store today, so you will be covered for Father’s Day too!

A Color Combo that Works!

ScrapFIT Challenge #84- Diana’s – Color Inspiration

Diana our Creative Trainer at ScrapFIT has created the most calming color combo for all of us! While most will think of the beach and rolling waves I just can’t it’s just too cold here in Michigan. So I thought Snow, Hey I  told you I live in Michigan.

I wanted to just focus on the colors so I stayed away from any pattern paper, that’s right everything on this page is stamped all by me. I layered up my background with large white tags that I heated embossed to give them a pop, and I started layering and distressing and I’m pretty happy where I ended up. Thanks, Diana for some great inspiration!
Here you can see more of my Tags, I just love tags they are so versatile. Don’t believe me check out our post over at Practical Scrappers today on 10 ways to use tags.

ScrapFit has another great for this fabulous color challenge, so make sure to link up your layout by the end of the month, and hey if you just have to have this kit you can buy it right now from Paper Issues.

Thanks for stopping by today make sure that you stop by Practical Scrappers for some great Tag Inspiration before you get to work scrapping.

I can't wait to see what you create  for this workout, Thanks again for stopping by see you soon!

Workout #83 - Wish Upon A Star

Over at  ScrapFIT we are working out with the stars. We want to see a layout or a card that shines bright with stars!

Every night I tell my daughter “I love you more than all the stars in the sky” and she replies “I love you more than all the fishes in the sea”… and it melts my heart every time. So when I was challenged with stars, I couldn’t think of anything else. So here is my layout with a star focus.

I used a Kit from Paper Issues that was Jam Packed with Echo Park’s –Everday Electric Collection.
ScrapFit has this great LowCal Kit from PaperIssues up for grabs with this Workout!

Make sure you link you your project for your chance to win it!
Thank's for stopping by today.
