But sadly my laptop was infected and I was unable to recover the video... Sorry maybe next time.

I hope that you all are having an amazing New Year!
Things are settling back in to the normal routine here, everything is slowing back down and the house is almost completely normal after the havoc that is the holidays. So I decided to take some time just to play in my studio!!
After digging around a bit I decided that I wanted to do something with this fun stamp from Technique Junkies, I just love the message and the roll model. Growing up, I absolutely loved watching the I love Lucy show!! So here is what I came up with I hope you like it.... I sure had fun creating it!
Hello All, I hope your year is off to a good start! Mine has been a bit rough over the last few months.... as you may have noticed by my missing posts. But the good news is I think that I am getting a handle on things and hopefully I will be back to myself soon! I just need to find serenity. Which is exactly what plan to do in 2015.
As you may know its become a bit of a tradition over at S.W.A.T. to start the year off with a resolutions for the first drill of the year and this year is no different.......
So that's it we challenge you to pick one word for 2015 and create one project to showcase that word.

For this month we really want you to be motivated so the winner of this months drills will receive a $20 Gift Card to the......
Now before you leave lets take a look at my word..........
To help me find Serenity I know that I will need to make time for my mind to be at peace and the only time that that truly happens is when my hands are covered in color and my Art Journal is on my desk. So that's were I started.... and this is the page that I ended up with.
To create my page I used Lindy's Stamp Gang mist, Art Anthology Gesso and a few drops of dimensional Crystals.
Hello All!! Its the March!! Already and its the first Saturday too! So that means we have a new drill for you over at S.W.A.T! This week we are challenging you to jump in to mixed media!
Now, I know that this just sounds crazy for some people and maybe even a little scary. But I promise if you give it a go you will enjoy it at least a little, you might even love it!! As for me I love it! Now don't get me wrong, I love my simple scrapping and my clean LO's documenting my families memories. But I truly enjoy playing with my mixed media products. I just love the process, the techniques and mess! Most of all I love how much you can express using different colors and textures! For my project I started with a quote from Dr. Seuss and a few of my favorite colors. I had so much fun creating this panel I hope you like it.
Products Used: Art Anthology Paint, Lindy Stamp Gang Mist, Prima Stamp & Flower, Basic Gray Flower, Misc Puzzle Pieces, Tim Hotz Stamps & Ink, Pink Paislee Tissue Paper and Faber Castell markers & Gesso.
Before you go I have a quick slide show to share. It shows my panel start to finish, its up on my YouTube Channel...Now, I just started it so its empty, but it will be filling up fast!! I hope you will take a peek!
I hope that I have inspired you to try something new! I really can't wait ti see what you create!
